Automotive Award 2019

Following the successful introduction of additional categories at the last Automotive Award, the upcoming event on the occasion of K 2019 will focus even more strongly on new, innovative plastic components.

We invite you to submit outstanding developments of plastic parts for vehicle construction from your company or from your circle of customers or suppliers for the 19th Automotive Award parts & components in the following categories:

Body Interior
Body Exterior
Power Train
Chassis Unit
Electronical/Optical Part

Structural Component
Enabler Technology

The submission fee remains unchanged; the fee is 950 euros for the first part and 800 euros for each additional part. The submission deadline is March 30, 2019.

The evaluation of all submitted parts will take place in the spring of 2019. Jurors from all sectors of plastics technology and vehicle construction will assess each part according to specified criteria. To ensure that everyone has the same opportunities, you may send a representative to the jury meeting who can present the part in a few sentences and answer questions about it.

The awards will be presented on October 14, 2019, at the Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf-Neuss. The program for the Award Night allows significantly more time than before to engage in conversation with decision-makers from the automotive industry and system suppliers. Please register for the Award Night by September 13, 2019, using the form.
