SPE Central Europe
Since 1986, the International Society for Plastics Engineering has promoted communication between scientists and engineers involved in the development, production, and processing of plastics. Over the years, the association has developed diverse activities and platforms to efficiently pursue this mission. The highest level of recognition among our activities has been achieved by the AutomotiveAward, which honors innovative vehicle parts and components made of plastic every eighteen months.
As SPE Central Europe, our society is part of the Society of Plastics Engineers, Inc., which was founded in the USA in 1942. Our Central European section comprises the countries of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as the Affiliate Sections Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Russia.
