SPE Central Europe showcased the winning components of the AutomotiveAward 2025 at PIAE 2026 in Baden-Baden

This year, SPE Central Europe was represented with an exhibition stand at PIAE in Baden-Baden, the annual VDI Congress on Plastics in Automotive Engineering, which took place on March 18 and 19, 2026.

The focus was on the winning components of the AutomotiveAward 2025, which met with great interest among visitors.

With a total of over 550 participants, PIAE provided a well-attended platform for professional exchange. The event took place for the first time at the Kongresshaus Baden-Baden and was rated consistently positive due to the modern, open atmosphere. During the congress, the VDI already signaled its interest in involving SPE Central Europe again in the future.

The award-winning components on display illustrated the high innovative strength of plastics technology in automotive engineering. Many visitors took the opportunity to view the exhibits together with business partners and discuss specific ideas or use cases. The neutral position of SPE and the range of solutions shown promoted substantive exchange.

The audience consisted mainly of raw material manufacturers, system suppliers, OEMs, and universities—areas closely linked to the themes of the AutomotiveAward. Numerous interested parties left their contact details for the upcoming Call for Parts at the end of the year.

SPE Central Europe considers its participation a complete success and thanks all those involved for their support and the constructive exchange at PIAE 2026.
