On April 24–25, approximately 30 jurors of the AutomotiveAward met at the Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH (KUZ)
and were informed about the activities and future plans of the AutomotiveAward as well as KUZ Leipzig. We were particularly pleased about the participation of new jurors. The jury met to discuss the evaluation criteria for the Sustainability Award. Prof. Hans-Josef Endres, Head of the Institute for Plastics and Circular Economy Engineering at Leibniz University Hannover, provided an overview of the topic of sustainability in his introductory presentation and set the stage for the subsequent, very intensive discussion among the jury members.
As always, an important aspect of the meeting was the exchange among participants, and so the jury members and representatives of our society met already on Monday evening. During a tour through the arcades in Leipzig’s city center, they learned many interesting facts about the city and the history of the trade fair.
Many thanks for this perfectly organized and successful day at the Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig
