SPE Central Europe at TECHNOMER 2025:
Innovation Driver between Industry and Universities
On November 6 and 7, 2025, SPE Central Europe presented itself with its own exhibition stand at the 29th International Technical Conference TECHNOMER at Chemnitz University of Technology. The event is considered an important meeting point for professionals from research and industry and offered the ideal platform to highlight the role of the plastics industry as a driving force for the automotive sector.
The SPE Central Europe stand attracted great interest: numerous visitors learned about the innovative plastic components that were honored with the latest SPE AutomotiveAward. Discussions focused on future topics such as lightweight construction, functional materials, and sustainable circular solutions – technologies that will significantly shape vehicle development and production in the coming years.
Furthermore, the importance of knowledge transfer between industry, universities, and young professionals became clear. With initiatives like TechTalks@Campus, SPE Central Europe creates formats that enable students and researchers to engage in direct exchange with experts from the industry. This commitment is complemented by the Young Professionals Award, which recognizes outstanding theses and thus supports academic young talent.
With this appearance, SPE Central Europe once again underscored its role as a platform for innovation, networking, and knowledge transfer in the plastics industry.
