Jury Meeting for the SPE AutomotiveAward 2025
Innovations with a focus on sustainability
On June 23, 2025, the time had come again: the SPE AutomotiveAward jury met at the Grafe Design Center in Blankenhain to review this year’s submissions. 35 experts from the plastics industry—from OEMs and raw material suppliers to research institutions—took a full day to critically examine and evaluate the innovations.
The focus was on solutions that make vehicles lighter, more efficient and, above all, more sustainable. Many entries impressed with smart material choices, well-designed processing methods and creative approaches to the circular economy. Numerous submitters took the opportunity to present their developments in person or virtually—helping the jury to understand the technical details even better and to provide well-founded evaluations.
A big thank-you goes to all jury members for their commitment, and to the GRAFE Group for the excellent organisation and warm hospitality. The technical support provided by the Comitec Group also made a significant contribution to ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Anticipation is now building for the Award Night on October 6, 2025, at the Kameha Grand Bonn—two days before the start of the K trade fair. The winners of the categories as well as the recipients of the Special Awards will be announced in a ceremonial setting.
