This year’s Annual General Meeting was once again held in Hamburg, within the stylish atmosphere of the Hotel Atlantic. A special honor was the presence of the President of SPE International, Dr. Claudius Feger, who had traveled specifically from Brookfield, USA. Participants also traveled from Belgium and Hungary. In addition to various other agenda items, the activities of the past year and the plans for the coming year were presented. The board was discharged for the past year and re-elected with almost the same members.

In the evening, participants and their companions were invited to a gala dinner. Dr. Claudius Feger gave a keynote speech, focusing on the strong relationship between SPE America and SPE Central Europe. Late in the evening, the fireworks on the Binnenalster could be observed from the hotel’s roof balcony while enjoying a glass of champagne.

The event reached a harmonious conclusion on Saturday with a short excursion in the VW Phaeton.
