On July 1 and 2, 2026, the SPE AutomotiveAward jury meeting took place at the IKK – Institute for Plastics and Circular Economy Engineering at Leibniz University Hannover in Garbsen. Approximately 30 participants discussed key topics for the further development of the award.

The focus was on insights into current IKK projects, discussions on sustainability assessment, and suggestions from the metaplan sessions. The collected input will now be evaluated by the SPE team and is intended to be incorporated into the SPE AutomotiveAward 2027.
